Stocking Stuffers for her

It's the most stressful time of the year.  Well "wonderful" to most.  I'm completely down for the QT time with the family but battling the long lines and dealing with the extreme stress of figuring out what to get for your cousins, friends, coworkers, and god knows who else can be a bit overwhelming.  And for the fellas it always is quite the task figuring out what to get for the ladies in your life.  Just to make your lives a bit easier here's a few ideas of some pretty cheap awesome stocking stuffers that will put a smile on any gals face.
PS. if any of my friends and fam wanna stuff my stockings with any of these I promise I wont smile toooo hard.

As much as I would love to take credit for this creative little play on the lovely (and creepy) Wednesday Adams I must shamefully admit this blogger didn't put this outfit together.  One of my lovely besties Ms. Nae Berry used her wonderful fashion and design school skills to put together this little ensemble last weekend when we went out on the town.  She knows me oh so well.  I like to be cute and classy not showing all my assy.

Daytime Pajamas

November 20, 2013

So this is seriously my lifestyle uniform.  I love nothing more then super comfy clothes once the weather starts to get chilly.  Its nothing like the feeling of walking around in your pajamas.  I love to get dolled up, don't get me wrong, but nothing compares to my love of comfy cotton pants, cardigans, and over sized shirts.

PS.  That little chunka chunk baby around my neck would be yours truly, and no I'm not vain but what makes a better accessory than baby you hanging around your neck.

Warm and Forgetful

November 18, 2013

OK so I'm well aware its the dead of fall, and were on the cusp of winter and I have no coat on.  HEY judge your mother, in my rush to catch a little glimpse of sunlight I left my blazer right on my chair.  This weather is seriously throwing me for a loop.  Its like its setting me up for an unavoidable flu.  But I couldn't help to bring out one of my fave blouses.  I absolutely adore a pussy bow blouse.  It adds an extremely feminine touch to almost anything.

Can I go on a rant about how much I love Gap's boot cut jeans.  I got these about a year ago during there last pre-Christmas sale for about $10.  They fit like a dream and look truly amazing with heels.  My suggestion; wear a heel that's not to high (no one will even know the difference) and allows your jeans to slightly sweep the floor.

Now back on track I go. Because of the bow on the blouse I didn't want to over accessorize.  A simple leopard print belt ( you can NEVER go wrong with a bit of leopard print) and a pop of color with the purple court shoe and VOILA simple, subtle, and adorbs.

He Can Take the Dress I'll Wear the Pants

Bottoms up

When cooking dinner with my roommate yesterday, or rather while she watched me cook dinner, we began to discuss how with age our style needs to evolve.  I must say I somewhat agree.  Now after venturing into this new territory of 25 I feel as though there needs to be some kind of change. So why not start in my wardrobe.  My first order of business; transition from jeans to pants.  I couldn’t even tell you how many pairs of jeans I currently have, but I think it’s time to expand my horizons or my closet that matter.  I do have  a few pairs of pants but it seems as we transition into the colder months hot orange or electric blue are very winter appropriate (well maybe not electric blue, I dont think I'm ready to pack those bad boys away yet).  Here are just a few pairs that have been on my wish list.
Pssssst all under $100 :-)

Hello Loves,

Its my first outfit post in the past year.... how shameful.  But anywho this chambray shirt is hands down my fave item in my closet. I have remixed it so many different ways I can't even recall.  And the love I have for this tutu like skirt is endless.  I have been searching for a tutu for so long but finding one has been almost impossible.  This isnt quite there but very close. This is a combo I shall be repeating very soon.

PS. I found this amazing skirt and boots on one of my favorite blogs make sure you check her out. A Lacey Perspective

Fav Fall Lippies

Fav Fall Lippies

Along with the changing colors of the leaves comes the changing colors of the lips.  Fall brings forth beautiful scenery and deep dark vampy lips.  Although I hate the fact that I have to cover up so much,  the one upside of the cold weather and runny noses is the ability to switch over to these great lip colors.

I used to be a huge lover of MAC and sephora brand lipsticks until I stumbled on the wonderful world of Wet and Wild lipstick.  They are EXTREMELY pigmented and long lasting.  Although I do still love a good MAC lipstick I have to say I have yet to find a color that compares to Wet and Wilds MegaLast.

Oh and btw there $1.99.  Seriously you cant beat that.  The tube may not be the cutest but who gives a hoot about a cute tube when you can have hours of longlasting fabulous all over your mouth.  Not this gal.

J.Crew For Less

Hello Loves!!!! Its been so long since I been on here. The last year was so hectic, but I promise I wont dissapear into the night on you ever again.

Seeing how we are just beginning fall I figured I'd do a post on some items I've been swooning over from one of my favorite stores that is just a bit out of my price range.  BUT thank god for the sales rack.  Here are a few items that I cant get enough of that are financially friendly and all under $50.  Why not keep your body and your wallet just a little warmer.

Toodaloo my loves
Camille :-)

One of my favorite summer trends was bold Floral Prints. Last night I went out for quick drinks with the beau and couldn't find anything to wear. After at least an hour of digging through the same bulky sweaters I decided to take a look through some of my boxed up winter clothes. Because of the lucky gal I am, I ran into my fav pair of floral print carpi's. So that they shined just as much as they deserve to I tried to keep everything else in my outfit very plain. So the moral of this story.... dive deep into that summer box you packed away you may find something you forgot was fabulous.

The Miracle Skin Protector

January 7, 2013

Putting on makeup everyday has become like putting on my game face. But with the changing seasons and the way my skin seems to vary so much it has become almost impossible to have flawless looking skin. MAC has always been my go to product when it comes to foundations and powders, but I noticed it has been drying my skin out more. And besides that, let’s get real, IT’S EXPENSIVE AS ALL HELL. So in a search for a cheaper alternative that still provides the same quality in coverage I discovered BB cream. BB cream is like gods little miraculous makeup invention for women everywhere. Instead of spending your morning slathering on primer, spf, foundation, setting powder, elmers super glue. .. ok maybe not all that, but you get my drift, you have on product that provides everything you need in one. It offers a sheer coverage for those of us who prefer to look more natural rather than to look like we are wearing a sculpted mask. I started of using smashbox bb cream which I ADORED, but spending $40 on a tube the size of my palm didn’t give me a warm fuzzy feeling. So on one of my many drugstore excursions I found this bb cream by Maybelline, and needless to say I LOVE IT. It gives me perfect coverage and blurs any and all imperfections, while providing me with remarkable staying power. Shockingly, it performs better to me than its high-end competitors. We won’t be parting ways anytime soon.
